dual boot - How can I get Gparted to shrink NTFS partition? - Ask Ubuntu


i have been trying dual boot 2008 macbook air windows 10 , ubuntu. 16.04 live dvd boots not offer option install alongside windows 10. when try gparted shrink windows partition, doesn't let me. tried shrinking partition in windows, worked ubuntu installed didn't recognise partition had shrunk, nor did gparted. has got ideas?
