unity - Wallpapers folder issues - Ask Ubuntu


if set image desktop background, ubuntu creates wallpapers folder in pictures folder , puts image there. if switch wallpaper, same thing, both images in wallpapers folder. if choose first image again, attempt save folder , come message asking if want overwrite it.

is normal? why act way? shouldn't easier switch , forth between wallpaper images without having duplicate files or popups asking overwriting? why save images there in first place?
