software installation - Can I install Lubuntu without having the admin password? - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu few years ago on old computer (acer aspire one, no cd-rom). change latest version of lubuntu not remember password computer. possible install lubuntu without password computer? if yes, best way of doing this?

yes. don't need remember old ubuntu password install new. boot bootable cd/usb , wipe partition belonging old ubuntu install , install lubuntu on it.
