live cd - Ubuntu LiveCd hangs on boot screen - Ask Ubuntu


every time try install or try ubuntu hit booting screen , hangs there forever.

i've never had issues installing ubuntu.

currently i've tried putting ubuntu on live usb(multiple writing softwares) , using live cd.

i've tried different computers 1 1 failed boot up.

also computer install windows install cd perfectly.

i've tried booting following settings.

  • acpi = off
  • noapic
  • nolapic
  • nomodeset

again nothing worked. i've tried several distros , encountered similar problems.

is there have missed here because i've hit brick wall @ stage.

well. there number of reasons installation can stall. stumbled upon question while looking answer own current (and first) ubuntu installation problem.

i'm not versed enough in ubuntu (nor linux in general) able give direct tips -- i'll share of findings (some of have tried, others not):

1) see if hardware linux/ubuntu compatible. here's checking general linux compatibility. see ubuntu hardware support section in ubuntu.com wiki.

... now, can't share more links in answer fabulous stackexchange system limiting links 2 (due lacking reputation points). more in answer. (and grrrr. crapexchange dorky limitations).

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
