16.04 - In Unity, how can I make application windows open in the center of the screen? - Ask Ubuntu


for gnome this solution seems work center opened application windows horizontally , vertically. ubuntu unity 16.04 have similar feature?

what yo need compizconfig settings manager (ccsm):

sudo apt install compizconfig-settings-manager sudo apt install compiz-plugins

then open ccsm going dash , type ccsm: enter image description here

then go window management , window placement:

and play around till you've got want!
