playonlinux - iTunes Installation on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - Ask Ubuntu
good day,
i connect ipad onto ubuntu 16.04 lts transfer files on ipad, have tried on playonlinux message says can't sync idevice ubuntu, how can connect idevice on ubuntu 16.04 lts?
i need this, because i'm using ipad company purposes? don't use windows @ anymore, there no way me go either.
i don't want virtual machine please me sort out.

install itunes on ubuntu open command terminal , type sudo apt-get install wine
, press “enter.” wine installs ubuntu, allowing download applications not supported linux distribution.
type sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
in command terminal allow manage mp3 , aac files ubuntu.
go online apple.com/itunes/download , click “download now” download 32-bit windows version of itunes.
type chmod +x itunessetup.exe
in command terminal make itunes installer executable.
right-click itunes installer file downloaded computer , select “open wine windows program loader.” itunes installs ubuntu using wine.
sync ipad itunes on ubuntu launch itunes opening applications folder , double-clicking “itunes.” wine starts , runs itunes.
click “itunes store” in left sidebar, click “sign in” in top right, type apple id , password in corresponding text fields, , click “sign in.”
connect ipad ubuntu computer using device’s usb connector cable. ipad icon appears in left sidebar.
click ipad icon in left sidebar , click “sync” in bottom right. sync options configured through control panels accessed clicking menu items along top of itunes application window.
