Time Machine like folder backups for Ubuntu - Ask Ubuntu


hey guys have interesting backup situation can't seem find program matches needs online came here see if guys knew anything.

i program that

  • backs folder once every hour day
  • keeps daily backups (which last hour of day) month
  • keeps archived (zipped tar'd or whatever compression) monthly backups (which last day in month) year

and store them in 1 folder. suggestions or config files existing programs match this?

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
