Ubuntu installation interrupted - Ask Ubuntu


i installing ubuntu usb fdd alongside windows 7. when left laptop few minutes, toddler pushed power button of laptop. screen black/blank when got back. i've trying fix it. want reinstall couldn't, won't boot usb now. should do?

the easiest thing in case of interrupted install start on trying fix partial install lead dependency hell.

therefore:

  • boot again usb
  • take "something else"
  • re-format ext4 partitions created taking care not remove windows partitions
  • let install finish while toddler sleeping.
