16.04 - hp elitebook 840 g1 ubuntu boot failed - Ask Ubuntu


i complete ubuntu installation hp elitebook840 g1.i can run ubuntu if choose ubuntu boot option pressing f9 during boot. have erase windows while installing ubuntu system default boot windows 8 installed. tried manage boot order bios problem same. how can configure system directly boot ubuntu.i have gone through several questions , answers don't solution. suggestion highly appreciated.

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
