virtualbox - Getting an error with opening virtual box - Ask Ubuntu


i facing following error, working before :(

the virtualbox linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) either not loaded or there permission problem /dev/vboxdrv. please install virtualbox-dkms package , load kernel module executing

'modprobe vboxdrv'

as root. if available in distribution, should install dkms package first. package keeps track of linux kernel changes , recompiles vboxdrv kernel module if necessary.

where: suplibosinit what: 3 verr_vm_driver_not_installed (-1908) - support driver not installed. on linux, open returned enoent.

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
