Cannot shutdown Ubuntu 16.04.1 & 16.10 (64bit) - Ask Ubuntu


after applying progressive upgrades on kernel (via apt dist-upgrade) system unable turn off after select shutdown. disabling "quiet splash" in grub configuration revealed system freezes after "reboot: power down" message.

this problem has been observed on kernels 4.4.0-45, 4.4.0-43 , 4.4.0-38, not on kernel 4.4.0-31 system shuts down normally!

the same problem evident using ubuntu 16.10 on live session after trying shut down.

system specs: core i5 6600k (skylake), z170 chipset

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
