16.04 - how to change partitions on another computer - Ask Ubuntu

i have computer mythbuntu on it. need change size of boot partition on because need upgrade software, can't own partition manager.
thought done connecting pc own , using mine change other. there way use computer external hard disk ?

there 2 practical ways want. first dismount hard disk , connect computer, use partition management tools on system change partition size. shouldn't change uuids, aware if does, mythbuntu system won't boot afterward.

the other way boot mythbuntu machine live usb or dvd , use live system's tools change partitions. slower (live systems tend pretty pokey), doesn't require have computer can read ubuntu partitions (which windows systems, instance, cannot).
