Parental control but not restriction - Ask Ubuntu

i have way measure spent time in computer in each application.

in case of son, has account in desk computer, use play game , watch cartoons on netflix/youtube. measure how time spends on each thing, not want restrict internet parent control does, know how time son spend if not have restrictions.

if there way implement in own account more 2 applications.

by way, using sparky linux, hope not big problem... thanks.

there whatpulse. in theory if set program autostart in child’s account track how time spent on specific applications, , other things. however, think son may turn off if opens himself , chooses quit.

if knows of more elegant solution, please share.
