cron - Kill Xvnc daily - Ask Ubuntu


first of sorry, i'm little noob here trying learn. i'm trying kill xvnc sessions daily without restarting server. tried putting in crontab:

37 * * * * root /usr/bin/pkill xvnc

( selected minutes check if cron executes job) doesn't work. when run 

# pkill xvnc

the xvnc session killed successfully. can please advise? many in advance!

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
