updates - APT error: Malformed entry 1 in list file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/itchio.list - Ask Ubuntu


not sure here.

i don't care if rid of update or want annoying red dot gone. know can not show notifications want them.

i did notification told me unable remove or update file. appreciated.

according error message, problem caused in file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/itchio.list

i'm assuming part of itch.io. have few options:

  • remove itch.io using appropriate method doing so. if involves removing package, may need purge package rather removing it.

  • edit above file identify problem (it's in first entry) , try , fix it.

  • contact makers of itch.io problem.
