How do I lift-and-shift my Ubuntu VM to LXD? - Ask Ubuntu


the blurb canonical latest release of ubuntu 16.10 says "the ability lift-and-shift 80% of linux vms machine containers.” , lxd site says "lxd designed “lift , shift” linux vms containers without modifying app or operations."

can point me information on how might done. i've searched haven't found might me lift-and-shift vms.
