and when try remove 1 unused kernel following error:

$ sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.19.0-49-generic reading package lists... done building dependency tree reading state information... done might want run 'apt-get -f install' correct these: following packages have unmet dependencies: linux-headers-generic-lts-vivid : depends: linux-headers-3.19.0-73-generic not going installed linux-image-extra-3.19.0-49-generic : depends: linux-image-3.19.0-49-generic not going installed e: unmet dependencies. try 'apt-get -f install' no packages (or specify solution).

when try install unmet dependencies, following error.

any suggestion can it? can manually/safely increase size of /boot drive? cheers

according man page:

"autoremove used remove packages automatically installed satisfy dependencies other packages , no longer needed."

first try:

apt-get -s autoremove

this simulated dry run of autoremove, tell remove real when run without -s option. if satsified won't nuke need, then:

apt-get autoremove

note: seems /boot partition full. run gparted live version cd (such knoppix) redistribute hard disk space , give /boot bit more room.
