networking - How to see what clients of lan doing on the internet - Ask Ubuntu


i have ubuntu 16.04 server routing, firewall, dhcp, dns caching. possible see clients doing on internet, importantly sites visiting? can done proxy (which have - squid , analyzer lightsquid), possible without proxy? have overview or survey on people on network? mean in sence of lightsquid, kind of "database" or long term overview, can view activity on internet.

you can't see communication data (i.e. users posting on facebook), using wireshark can see incoming , outcoming http & https requests, , tell website looking at. happy spying! - exp3rt (https://www.wireshark.org/)

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
