software installation - How to get Supreme Commander working through Steam using PlayOnLinux? - Ask Ubuntu


i remember long time ago playing game on windows 7 believe made windows xp. have tried installing game through steam installing steam using wine version 1.9.22 through playonlinux. steam have 1 of components crash when try view things through internet such communities or password reset page. black screen of these after following upstream's advice should have fixed issue.

the advice use latest dev version of wine , windows xp mode. though i'm not sure using latest dev version, latest pol allow me have (1.9.22).

the game called supreme commander, , problem after following advice when launch game sound, , cursor, , seem able interact @ least keyboard game able skip intro. apart custom game cursor, screen black , can't seem fix this.

i running ubuntu gnome 16.10 gnome 3.22, there way make supreme commander work on steam under pol , not show me black screen?
