drivers - Problems with Wifi on Gnome 16.10 Asus laptop - Ask Ubuntu

just got new worklaptop, , have been trying 2 days wifi working..

as advised in https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2191382

i chose give search , ask help, because have tried kinds of solutions, no avail.

last thing tried symlink new driver in /lib/firmware older one, because trying load driver not downloaded yet.
