what problem??

this answer cortopy in ask.fedoraproject.org, worked me.

i've been experiencing similar problem today, couldn't open nautilus @ all. i'm wondering if due recent update clash.

this isn't solution, @ least allows me carry on normal.

first thing try sudo nautilus in terminal. if works, may mean there wrong active nautilus processess current user.

to able restart nautilus properly, following:

  1. see nautilus processes running :
    ps aux | grep nautilus
  2. kill nautilus processes see :
    sudo kill pidnumber
  3. restart nautilus :
    nautilus -q
