16.04 - Qtcreator freezes after few minutes of use - Ask Ubuntu


i installed qt 4.1.0 based on qt 5.7.0 (gcc 4.9.1 20140922 (red hat 4.9.1-10), 64 bit)
, every time run after few minutes of use freezes.
have ubuntu 16.04.1 lts, on laptop (lenovo g510)
ubuntu-drivers devices output: 

== cpu-microcode.py == driver   : intel-microcode - distro non-free

lspci -nn | grep vga output:

00:02.0 vga compatible controller [0300]: intel corporation 4th gen core processor integrated graphics controller [8086:0416] (rev 06)

any idea what's problem?

edit: after disabling both welcome , qmldesigner plugins, doesn't crash. can't see examples&tutorials , use qt design

nvidia - NV18 [GeForce4 MX 4000] driver - Ask Ubuntu

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
