i'm new ubuntu after jumping os x ship since captain tim starting lose it. i've been trying on dualboot, , love it.
but see files in home folder -think- can delete, know implode everything. can tell me if these files safe delete?
- dht.dat
- dht_feed.dat
- examples
- release.key
- resume.dat
- rss.dat
- settings.dat
edit: well, moved files trash , since experienced several freezes, crashes etc. fixed (forced) reboot, kept happening, moved items trash , far good; no more freezes (yet).
so appearantly there these files. how debug errors?
can tell me if these files safe delete?
- that decide.
- they don't belong in /home/$user/ though.
- it looks open install file in /home/$user/.
- should safe remove in opinion never know ;)
even ... command line can delete ...
rm dht.dat dht_feed.dat release.key resume.dat rss.dat settings.dat
and if want make backup first ...
mkdir ~/backup mv dht.dat dht_feed.dat release.key resume.dat rss.dat settings.dat ~/backup/
i left "examples" out of though harmless delete; default directory , not part of other files listed.
