boot - ata1, 2, 3 softreset failed - Ask Ubuntu


a couple of weeks ago, installed ubuntu 16.04 desktop (64-bit). had been working flawlessly. after doing couple of software updates, 3 errors on restart/bootup:

  • [2.484025] ata1: softreset failed (device not ready)
  • [2.488023] ata3: softreset failed (device not ready)
  • [2.488106] ata2: softreset failed (device not ready)

i have not been able past errors. however, able boot in "recovery mode".

i searched ubuntu forum similar problem have not been able find solution. point me in right direction?

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
