Nginx index.html gets overwritten with default index.html file - Ask Ubuntu


i'm running nginx on ubuntu 14.04. have website installed in default /usr/share/nginx/html directory. website works fine several days , system automatically overwrites websites index.html file default nginx "welcome nginx!" index.html file. have go , copy website's index.html file again in order website work. i've had website couple of weeks , has happened 3 times. website work few days , index.html file overwritten. there no method madness. know might causing happen?

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
