nvidia - Pointer not moving, mouse inputs still work in 16.10 live build - Ask Ubuntu


i'm trying 16.10 installed on new pc (running gtx 1080, , mouse logitech g502 if matters) , pointer frozen in top left corner of screen, both in installer, , in live build usb.

now, mouse still works, can click, , move on different icons, visible pointer won't move, navigation involves guessing on screen am.

any ideas might causing this? or @ least keyboard-based ways fix it? i've searched around quite bit, haven't heard of else having issue. want able install os properly.

i had same problem, , i've read far seems problem newer nvidia graphics cards (gtx 10xx) , nouveau display driver.

to cursor working during installation did following:

  1. boot cd/usb
  2. in grub, select install 'your distroname' don't start it
  3. press e key change boot paramters
  4. in line starts linux add nomodeset in front of quiet splash looks nomodeset quiet splash
  5. press f10 boot these options

now installer wasn't in monitors native resolution mouse working!

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
