i person new xubuntu using crouton on chrome book wondering how root terminal open. reason want can modify files ware left behind installing wine , removing ( yes used -remove -autoremove , -purge) can not , morbidly curious access root terminal

using admin account open terminal controlaltt , type ...

sudo -i

the ask admin password, , show #. mind terribly easy royally mess system when using #.

mind though not required need do. when want remove not own put sudo in front of command , remove it.

if there remaining deleting wine should in /home/$user/.wine , should needed remove directory.
