gnome super button doesn't search files - Ask Ubuntu


in unity, key combination "super+f" finds files name (even partial name) no trouble, in gnome, pressing "super" , searching works applications , folders (among other things), not files.

i have changed "search" settings on "system settings" doesn't seem anything. ("files" marked, still won't find files)

am missing something? or alternatively, key combination search files in gnome?

i using ubuntu 16.10 gnome shell version 3.20.4
