amd graphics - Multi GPU boot fail - Ask Ubuntu


first of i'm new linux systems. problem whenever install amdgpu-pro driver system, not boots. empty dark purple screen or flashing dash or gnu grub screen. have 2 rx 480 , older r9 280 in machine. (yes, mining coins.) worked on windows wanted switch linux.

so question: possible different gpus messing system? (i didn't have time take out 3rd card , can't access system 2 more days...) if yes, switching r9 280 rx 470 can solve problem (as based on polaris10 gpu), or should third rx 480?
