lvm - I can't see my old files in Ubuntu 14.04 after I newly installed my Ubuntu to 16.04 - Ask Ubuntu

to whom may concern,

i newly installed ubuntu 16.04, can't see old files in 14.04. please kindly help. choose live-install ubuntu 16.04 boot-up usb disk, choose lvm, choose new format. can't see old files when in old ubuntu 14.04.
