Mouse not working after 16.10 install - Ask Ubuntu


i did fresh install of 16.10. during install mouse in same state of being invisible used nomodeset command launch install again , mouse started working , complete installation, again after installation have no mouse. mouse working in background icon invisible. tried installing gdm stated on here damaged system.

i'm ubuntu beginner , hope can considering i've reinstalled system 5 times in 2 days failures different versions. thanks.

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
