ntfs - When accessing a FAT32 partition in Ubuntu, does it get flagged for Windows to run chkdsk? - Ask Ubuntu

i have windows 10 computer. booted using ubuntu 16.04 lts live cd. hard drive has 3 partitions automatically mounted in ubuntu - c , d drives ntfs partitions, , e drive fat32 partition.

i clicking around in 3 windows partitions, viewing directory contents - did not write of partitions. told ubuntu shut down computer. turned computer on , booted windows 10. said "scanning , repairing e:", think in windows 10 means it's running chkdsk. did not scanning/repairing c or d drives.

i have rebooted windows 10 computer ton of times, , first time i've ever seen "scanning , repairing" message.

looking around @ various forums, saw couple people if access windows partition in ubuntu, ubuntu flag partition precautionary purposes chkdsk runs on next time windows boots up. have seen nothing definitive this. if true, true fat32 partitions, because didn't see "scanning , repairing" message c or d drives ntfs.

i want make sure "scanning , repairing e:" message supposed appear precautionary purposes, , didn't appear because ubuntu corrupted partition.
