Canclled/deleted download keeps resuming in Chrome - Ask Ubuntu


i'm using chrome version 54.0.2840.71 (64-bit) / elementary os loki (16.04). reason download keeps resuming after cancellation, deletion, restart, system restart, etc.

it's not malware--libreoffice tar main site.

any thoughts? thanks.

Windows XP installation, no previous version of Windows NT - Super User
