drivers - Audio doesn't work on Windows XP guest (WS 7.0) - Super User


i can't audio work on windows xp guest running on vmware workstation 7.0 , ubuntu 9.10 host.

windows fails produce audio output , windows device manager says multimedia audio controller not working properly.

audio working fine in host os.

when open multimedia audio controller properties says:

device status: drivers device not installed (code 28)

if try reinstall driver following error message:

cannot install hardware

there problem installing hardware: multimedia audio controller

an error occurred during installation of device
driver not intended platform

has else experienced problem?

five days , no answer? think should give virtualbox try instead. said in comment, worked me. vb unchecked enable audio option on restart, had go , re-check after installing guest additions.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
