14.04 - Can I swap out Nvidia cards without having to reconfigure the drivers? - Ask Ubuntu


currently running ubuntu 14.04.1 lts on desktop gtx 650 **with drivers version 352.63, cuda 7.5, cudnn, digits, tensorflow.

i gtx 1060 card.

would matter of powering down, swapping cards , booting again; driver recognize card?

normally works, except in case need newer drivers in ubuntu gtx 1060, released after ubuntu 14.04.

  1. first, update nvidia drivers latest version:

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa    sudo apt-get update    sudo apt-get upgrade    sudo apt-get install nvidia-370

    then reboot.

  2. after you've installed nvidia-370 can safely power machine off , swap out card.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
