apt - Packages held back libnma-common (16.04 LTS) - Ask Ubuntu


certain packages being held @ sudo apt upgrade, namely libnma-common realted mobile , wireless dialogues.

investigating further @ sudo aptitude reveals dependency problems, however, not problem itself:

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
