How to read ext4 partitions in Windows? - Ask Ubuntu


i have 2 questions on ext4:

  1. is there way mount ext4 partition in windows (xp/vista/7) basic read support?
  2. if not, there plans support someday?

there utility called ext2read browse ext partitions in windows (including ext4 partitions). haven't tried lately.

download , execute in windows system.

ext2read can read wubi virtual disks. e.g. \ubuntu\disks\root.disk.

drivers - No wi-fi network after install - Ask Ubuntu

i installed ubuntu 16:10 on xiaomi air 13 "uncommon device know" i'm not able see wifi connection. problem occurred right after install, since before "during try ubuntu , installation" able see , connect w/out problem. if go settings -> network i'm not able turn on wifi "it switch off turn on". nothing in software , update -> more driver. what should ? :c edit:i able fix metod here wi-fi drivers laptop xiaomi air 13 but can't find programm/app on ubuntu software c. "like geany". problem somehow related fix found ?
