i see tai viet in character map. question how have show in text entry list can use language

there no keyboard layout named tai viet. can make keyboard layouts available in text entry running command:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.input-sources show-all-sources true

you may want install ibus-m17n package, (next time log in) make few ibus input methods available typing tai , vietnamese languages.
