locale - How can I a language to spd-say? - Ask Ubuntu


i add language ubuntu, @ least spd-say, make possible make system speak out messages in own language.

i checked spd-say see if language or not, using following code. language not listed.

spd-say -l

who can me? find me add language spd-say.

can solve problem?

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
