bash - How do I remove a default command keyword? - Ask Ubuntu


i create install alias sudo apt-get install install keyword taken. can remove keyword , how do it?

you cannot without hiding default install command because aliases take precedence on commands. recommend choosing word alias. can use get example.

installed ubuntu mate 16.04 lts on decade-old desktop. lspci -k shows: 01:00.0 vga compatible controller: nvidia corporation nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] (rev c1) subsystem: xfx pine group inc. nv18 [geforce4 mx 4000] kernel driver in use: nouveau kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau i wonder nvidia-* driver package need install. thought should nvidia-96 , far checked, there no nvidia-96 package available.
