networking - SSH connected remote server is using my local computer's internet - Ask Ubuntu

i'm new ubuntu. , im not quite sure this. im connected remote server hosted digital ocean ssh. local internet speed around 120 kbps. when download on server through wget downloads speed of 120kbps. whereas when ran quick internet speed test, results are:

testing download speed........................................ download: 690.98 mbit/s testing upload speed.................................................. upload: 297.49 mbit/s

also when create torrent through server, upload speed quite less. it's similar local pc's upload speed. dont know problem is. in advance!

update:

turns out "wget" download working again server's internet download speed @ 74mbps. still 100kbps upload speed torrents. im trying download large files on server, create torrents of them, , download these torrents on local computer. server's upload speed low. similar local machine's upload speed. im using transmission, i've tried deluge. useits gui application through ssh option -x .

your server's upload speed imaginary ultra-fast server 300 mbit/s

your local connection's download speed imaginary ultra-fast server 120kbps (>2000 times slower).

the 120kbps limiting factor when download server local pc. server may capable of pushing 300 mbit/s fast server doesn't mean able same through slower connection local pc.
