14.04 - Ubuntu machine not starting up - Ask Ubuntu
i tried install teamviewer in ubuntu machine. followed steps mentioned in link: http://www.itzgeek.com/how-tos/linux/ubuntu-how-tos/how-to-install-teamviewer-on-ubuntu-14-10.html command line installation.
i tried mount manually still didnt work.
i not able figure out went wrong.
i using ubuntu 14.04. getting error "the disk drive /mnt/usb-zte_usb_storage_fff1-0:0 not ready yet or not present" on start up.
for past 8 hours continuing load :( :(

your problem has nothing teamviewer. there no mounting step in command line installation tutorial :)
it looks ubuntu trying mount usb key has been unplugged.
what should start "live" ubuntu session (via usb key example), mean repair ubuntu installation.
once up, open disk have ubuntu physically installed, , modify contents of /etc/fstab
.
in there should find line /mnt/usb-zte_usb_storage_fff1-0:0
:
- remove it
- power off
- remove usb key used live ubuntu session
- boot machine.
that's it.
