14.04 - Upgrade USN-3122-1: NVIDIA graphics drivers vulnerabilities : messes up graphics - Ask Ubuntu


the latest ubuntu 14.04 lts upgrade of 3 nov 2016 destroys graphics capabilities of programs. old versions

  1. libcuda1-304.131
  2. nvidia-304.131
  3. nvidia-current.131
  4. nvidia-libopencl1-304.131
  5. nvidia-opencl-icd-304.131

and these worked fine.

the new versions are:

  1. libcuda1-304.132
  2. nvidia-304.132
  3. nvidia-current.132
  4. nvidia-libopencl1-304.132
  5. nvidia-opencl-icd-304.132

these show strange side effects on graphics in following programs:

  1. 0ad, shows map, no buildings, soldiers, trees or landscape features.
  2. totem player, plays movie black in black window, sound ok.
  3. possibly others have not identified yet.

i can't find nividia-*304.131 binaries, downgraded 304.131-0ubuntu0.14.02.2 304.117.0ubuntu1 (trusty). 0ad , totem work again.

but have downgraded nvidia-304.131, working fine, nvidia-304.117. way nvidia-304.131 again? , how this?

this appears problem nvidia 304.132 driver, according https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/974456/f24-permission-problems-/?offset=2 .

it's being reported @ https://unix.stackexchange.com/q/321185/49753 , https://superuser.com/q/1141452/231111 , many other places. apparently solution @ moment downgrade previous driver version (304.131).

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
