Blank screen after installing nvidia restricted driver - Ask Ubuntu


i've installed current nvidia restricted driver , rebooted machine , black or blank screen.

how can fix this?

remove nvidia-related packages

  1. log in terminal: ctrl+alt+f1 (terminal visible blank screen)

  2. sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia-*

start scratch

  1. sudo apt-get remove --purge xserver-xorg-video-nouveau xserver-xorg-video-nv

reinstall everything

  1. sudo apt-get install nvidia-common
  2. sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
  3. sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dri xserver-xorg-core

reconfigure x server

  1. sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
