mate-panel: Finding auto-hide in dconf editor - Ask Ubuntu

most parameters in mate-panel properties directly relate in dconf editor to

/org/mate/panel/toplevels/top/ resp. /bottom/

enter image description here

for example, changing size gives instant feedback on either side.

what cannot find matching dconf-value autohide. found.

it is changeable command line. (and doing has desired effect.) - why dconf editor not show it?

$> dconf write /org/mate/panel/toplevels/bottom/auto-hide true $> dconf write /org/mate/panel/toplevels/bottom/auto-hide false

this appears problem ubuntu version, mate installation, or dconf editor. mate 1.16.0 on ubuntu 16.10, dconf editor 3.20.3.

for me, auto-hide key present in dconf-editor.
