networking - Ethernet Network (eth0) not working after upgrade to 16.04 - Ask Ubuntu
after upgrading dual-boot windows 10 , ubuntu 14.04 lts 16.04 wired connection has stopped working. option ethernet network greyed out , wireless connections available. ethernet connection not working in windows 10. running diagnostic in windows shows no ethernet cable connected. have tried same lan cable , setup on laptop , works.
my setup lan cable netgear powerline extender connected virgin media netgear superhub. works laptop.

i upgraded network card driver using sudo apt-get install r8168-dkms
didn't solve problem.
