name 3 processes couldn't have had init initial parent can 1 me on parent doesn't have children in ubuntu question refers linux handbook

some kernel processes started before init, have pid ≥ 2. these processes have no parent. , children of these processes don't have init ancestor.

to see them, try pstree 0.
