sound - Volume "equalizer"/volume control - Ask Ubuntu


is there program can equalise/normalise audio output preset level real time?

i dont want disturb neighbors @ nights when watching youtube videos series of clips have different volume

so 1 clip loud @ e.g 10% , next barely audible @ 30% volume bar 1 follows earbraking @ 30% volume bar etc

volume bar = youtube player volume bar.

so there program can automatically lower volume if exceeds preset limit in real time?

i not talking controlling youtube volume bar per se (i suppose harder) program monitors audio volume gets outputed audio chip's green minijack out , balanace volume.
