upgrade - Upgrading VM when graphical prompt does nothing - Ask Ubuntu


this first post, if did wrong apologize.

i running ubuntu 15.10 on vmware player. tells me upgrade 16.04.1lts. when click on upgrade , type in password, nothing happens.

can not upgrade os's in image? there way around?

i have lot of work on image don't want lose deleting image , downloading updated version. can give!

the process upgrading virtual machine latest version of ubuntu same physical machine. since graphical upgrade interface not working, recommend typing command-line equivalent

do-release-upgrade

you might need sudo privileges, command be

sudo do-release-upgrade

this check available upgrades , start upgrade process. if errors occur in process, easier find , read opposed graphical interface upgrading.

i highly recommend backing personal information separate drive/usb/cloud in case goes wrong. it's in habit of upgrade or major changes operating system has personal files.

windows - "-2146893807 NTE_NOT_FOUND" when repair certificate store - Super User

i try repair certificate store in windows 10 doing c:\windows\system32>certutil -store -user ‎330000019dba8d5dddb98062a900000000019d "personal" certutil: -store command failed: 0x80090011 (-2146893807 nte_not_found) certutil: object not found. i have double check mmc, certificate details serial number of certificate. still fail repair certificate store. can please help? i getting same error when trying export pfx. turns out had export c:\cert.pfx instead of cert.pfx (it trying export file cert store ( cert:\localmachine\my ).
