keyboard - Navigate through past commands in C shell? - Ask Ubuntu

for assignment required use c shell. have csh , going.

however, i've noticed when press up , down keys on bash terminal see past commands i've used. on c terminal see (for example) ^[[a when press up key, , ^[[b when press down key.

is there way fix csh list previous commands when press , down keys?

by way, minor convenience of not having retype entire ./script filename command everytime want test script on text file.
